Curriculum vitae Donato Di Pasquale
Born in Teramo in 1962. He studied piano in Teramo, Italy, with Erika VICARI within Istituto Musicale “G. Braga” where he brilliantly graduated in piano. He studied traditional composition with Mauro CARDI; contemporary techniques of composition and ancient techniques of counterpoint with Giancarlo BIZZI; electronic music with Michelangelo LUPONE. He brilliantly graduated in DAMS (Discipline delle Arti, della Musica e dello Spettacolo) at Bologna University. He presented and discussed the degree thesis: Genesi dei Quattordici Canoni BWV 1087 di Johann Sebastian Bach. He got a 110/110 Cum Laude Master's degree in FILOSOFIA E COMUNICAZIONE at L'AQUILA University. He presented and discussed the degree thesis: Il concetto di rumore in Fred Dretske.
Since 1992 to 2002 he yearly hold music and drama workshops for children, making many concerts and musical tales, all of them with original music and arrangements. He is Music Teacher in the role of Italian Public Secondary School.
In September 2000 he was a founding member and president of the Cultural Association Play22settembre.
After he got three roles in teaching competitions for exams and qualifications at the very first opportunity — BARI, 1990; MILAN, 1990; PESCARA, 1995 — he has chosen to be a permanent teacher of MUSIC in Secondary School.
In September 2000 he founded the Play22settembre Cultural Association together with others.

In April of 2014 he embarked on a journey following the BACH ROUTE: EISENACH, OHRDRUF, LÜNEBURG, ARNSTADT, MUHLHAUSEN, WEIMAR, KÖTHEN, LEIPZIG, collecting dozens of hours of footage, interviews, and many other sources.
